Here it is!



 Its that time again...the question is, who is going to step up and who is going to wuss out.  I'm calling out Lucas, Amie, Reina, and Aaron in particular....  Although I have gotten positive feed back from Amie so I think she will be joining us.   This time we have added and changed a few things. (that I put in pink...because I like pink.)  I am also needing a little feedback on some things as well.

 Here's the skinny: everyone who wants to be in it puts $25 in a pot. Winner with most points accumulated for the following items gets ½ the pot. Second runner-up gets 30%, and third runner-up gets 20%. The challenge is 10 weeks long. Every Sunday email your points total to me and I will keep a running tally of everyone’s points. I will also add them to the blog so you know where everyone is at and if you need to step up your game or not.   That is how we did it last time, although mom and dad didn't really care about the money...so should we buy an actual prize for the winner or what?  What motivates everyone the most??




This time I am also going to be posting random health facts, motivational tidbits, random workouts or funny health things throughout the time to keep the blog interesting and hopefully help keep you going.  (and so people actually look at the stinking blog....)
 
****Starting Points****
+5 points for sending $25 to me, Sara, by the first day of the challenge, Monday Feburary 27th (which means within the next couple of days it should be in the mail!) You can send it to mom's address.

****Everyday points**** +1 point for 30 minutes of exercise, or 2 points for 1 hour of exercise up to 6 days/week (12 pts per week) +1 point per day for drinking 48-64 oz of water daily (7 pts per week)
+1 point per day for keeping a food journal (7 pts per week)
+ 1
point per day you got 7-9 hours of sleep the night before (7 pts per week)
+1 point per day if you don't eat after 9 pm. (7 pts per week) (this is because last time we would all binge at night after finding out what the pop challenge was... tsk tsk.)

POP CHALLENGES
 
***Every day on Monday through Friday: For the pop challenge there will be a bag containing pieces of paper with the following tasks written on them. We will pull out a task and text it to you. After we pull one, we will return it to the bag, so it may be used again. If you did that task that day, you will get extra points. Please record these pop challenge points and add them to your weekly tally. We will text everyone between 8-9:00 (sometimes 7 because I would be hounded with texts asking me what it was...probably so the "binge" mentioned above could start.) with the pop challenge.
 
****Pop Challenge Points****
Extra exercise- Reward yourself
+2 extra pts for every half hour extra beyond the first ½ hour
No fried food/cooking with excess butter, oil, etc. +

2 (we were thinking on lower this to 3 servings instead of 4...4 servings of veggies is HARD!  I remember choking down carrots trying to get my fourth serving in. let me know what you guys think so we can make a final decision.)

Anyone who is up for the challenge please reply as soon as possible so we have an idea who will be participating (i.e. how big the cash pot will be!).
Also, this is all done on the honor code....NO CHEATING!
Also I am trying to think of ideas so that we can keep motivated even when Rachael is 200 points ahead of everyone.  any ideas?  I was thinking like a week where everyday we go head to head with another player and the winner is awarded points and moves on to the next bracket... I dont know, just brainstorming.  what are your thoughts?
